The Brick Ranch
A mid-century brick ranch taken back to the studs inside.
Everything behind the original brick is new. A reworked kitchen with full-height cabinetry, granite and a tiled backsplash; refinished hardwood floors in the bedrooms; new paint throughout; an updated bath. Outside, the brick, the shutters and the wrought-iron porch rail were kept — the house still reads as what it always was, which is the point.
