The Glass-Roof Courtyard
A restaurant built inside a historic downtown shell.
A retractable glass roof over an interior courtyard, with the original brick walls left raw and planted. Inside, a pressed-metal coffered ceiling, plaster walls, a marble bar and custom millwork with brass rails. A hospitality build-out is a different discipline from a house: every trade lands in a compressed schedule, inside a building that is already old and already listed.
